Everything I post on this blog is my opinion – my personal thoughts, ramblings, musings, call it what you will.
Husband and father are my vocation.
Instructional design is my occupation. I focus on elearning, mobile learning, and other s0-called innovations in learning approaches and technologies. That’s my “day job” – and this blog in no way represents the thoughts, ideas, practices, etc. of my employer.
Musician is my avocation – more than a hobby in that I work in various public theaters as a music director throughout the great Garden State … so it does help to pay the bills as well.
I make my home in the central part of the Garden State (that’s New Jersey for the uninitiated … and yes, I’m near an exit) along with my family. When I’m not working as an Instructional Designer (focusing mostly on Web-Based learning, mobile learning … and other emerging technologies) or researching something, I’m found at home playing music as well as playing computer or video games.
In 2006, I was on a temporary work assignment in Pune India … during which I captured my adventures in a blog: Running with Scissors. This was my first real foray into the world of blogging … and as a result – I was hooked.
Among other things, I volunteer as a choir member and catechist for 8th graders at my parish, St. Bartholomew Church.
