Last blast of Summer - going on vacation - no blogging for awhile

In my part of the world, school doesn’t start until after the Labor Day holiday. It’s always been this way … I managed to learn the reasons why, which are interesting but irrelevant in today’s world (perhaps I’ll blog on this when I get back from vacation).

So, I’m taking my first real vacation in a long time - will be gone for a week. And will be taking a rest from blogging during that time.
