I have been to 28.57% of the Seven Wonders

2 out of 7 … that’s not so bad so far.

The new Seven Wonders of the World were announced 7/7/07 … (not to worry - the Pyramids of Giza remain an official wonder … whew!)

Of the seven I’ve managed to see the Roman Colosseum and the Taj Mahal.

I was in Rome in late 2001 - family trip.

The Taj Mahal was an excursion while I was on a temporary work assignment in India (wrote about my experiences here, here, and here).

 

So I have a little bit of travelling left to do see the rest of the wonders up close and personal:

• Chichen Itza Pyramid in Mexico
• Statue of Jesus in Rio
• The Great Wall of China
• Machu Picchu
• Petra in Jordan
